Claims about Fleece....
We are frequently asked questions about fleece regarding its properties.
Originally introduced by Malden Mills in 1979, the company has since been renamed Polartec LLC. Interestingly, the developer intentionally did not patent the produce to promote its widespread use.
Fleece is not waterproof. It is water resistant up to a point and really only shower restistant. Fleece is a soft, napped synthetic fabric with thermal insulation properties. Polar fleece (also called microfleece) is much lighter than wool but has some of the same properties as wool. It is soft, light, warm and comfortable. It resists water absorption (i.e. it is hydrophobic) and retains some thermal insulation even when wet. Snow sticks to fleece really well which in turn reduces it thermal properties. It is quite flammable unless treated with a flame retardant, it is not windproof and it holds static electricity and hences accumulates lint, dirt and hair. This is why some people report that their dogs fur gets matted or felted after prolonged wearing.
Polar fleece was originally made from Polyethylene terephthalate (PET) but it can be made from other synthetic fibres, including recycled plastic bottles or recycled fleece.

Designs, copyright etc.
Our designs have been developed by us of a long period of time. We create a pattern for each coat we make and retain the mesurements and the pattern should we need to use it again. The designs are registered to us and the interlectual property belongs to Pawsamore Ltd and we will tackle any copyright infringements.
-
Photographs
We photograph every coat we make for our records but also to use on our website and on our social media. We love to see pictures of your pet in thier coat and often use these as part of our marketing. We would normally ask first. If you have been kind enough (and we really appreciate our customers sending us pictures) we assume that you dont mind us using them unless you specifcately tell us.

Discounts and Referrals
We can’t do 100% giveaways for promotions, however we do have a referral scheme which is available to customers who have purchased at least one of our products first.
If an existing customer passes 10 customers who purchase a coat, then at our discretion, we will offer a discount on their next order normally this would be a maximum of 25%. All the existing customer needs to do is ensure that each referral mentions their name when placing an order with us.
Sorry but we do not discount our products as they are all hand made to order.
I am sure that you will appreciate as a small startup company our profit margins are tiny and thus giving away a product without any guaranteed sales is not viable.
